Central place for a short break in the city center of Adenau.
The beautiful wrought iron works representing the guilds at the fountain were made by the master blacksmith Willi Kiesewalter from Honerath.
Adenau's three traditional guilds are the wool weavers' guild, the leatherworkers' guild, and the hammer guild. They have a long history and maintain a significant historical heritage by acting as protective associations for their members, taking on the responsibilities of goods production, quality assurance, and training. Among the three guilds, the leatherworkers' guild is the oldest in Adenau, having been founded in 1603.
