Exhibition | Alienation | at the Administrative District of Adenau

From March 2 to March 30, 2026, the exhibition Alienation by the artist Silke Janzen will be on display in the premises of the Administrative District of Adenau. The exhibition predominantly features oil pastel paintings in a naïve-expressive style. Thematically, it addresses the alienation of two individuals and the gentle process of their rapprochement.

The artist and art therapist from Rheinbach led the Atelier Farbzart there for seven years, offered open studio courses, worked in schools as well as in a renowned rehabilitation clinic. She is also known for her small watercolors "New Rheinbach Cityscapes" and commissioned works of homes and gardens.

Since autumn 2025, Silke Janzen has set up her studio at the former "Gnadenhof Eifel" near Harscheid. There, she plans to offer courses and workshops again in addition to her free artistic work.
