On Wednesday, September 24, the kfd initiative 'Ahr-Eifel konkret' and the local group Adenau invite you to the women's pilgrimage to 'Our Lady with the Lily – Queen of Peace' in Barweiler.
The initiative will organize a pilgrim's path before the service starting at 1:30 PM, which leads with a view over the Eifel mountains from the Kita Barweiler (Nordstraße) to the chapel on the Hömmerich and back to the parish church. Along the way, 5 short impulses invite reflection, silence, communal prayer, and singing. The pilgrim's path and the subsequent service are under the guiding thought 'Living in Peace with Creation.' The total distance is 2.3 km. Parking is available below the daycare center.
This year, all participants from our parish community will meet at 1:30 PM at the Kita Barweiler. Instead of a bus transfer, we are offering carpooling. We also ask for registration for this with Ruth Holbach.
At 3:00 PM, the Eucharistic celebration in the parish church will begin, led by the spiritual accompaniment in the kfd diocese association Trier, pastoral associate Annette Bollig, and Pfr. Andreas Paul, and enhanced by the music group 'Frauenzimmer.'
