The Friends of Arenberg Castle Ruin e.V. aim to hike one of the 11 villages of the former Duchy of Arenberg each year.

The nearly two-hour tour first takes us at a leisurely pace from Aremberg through Eichenbach to Wershofen, where we can recharge at the country inn Pfahl. There we will meet Pastor Rainer Justen, who lives in Wershofen and is a profound expert on the history of his village as well as the history of the Duchy of Arenberg.
In the end, we will walk back to Aremberg. For those who find the hike back to Aremberg too much, a car shuttle can be arranged.
