The highest castle in Rhineland-Palatinate then invites you on a tour of discovery. The castle tour is a wonderful walk around the castle ruins of Nürburg with a detour to the Burgweiherhütte. An information board along the hiking route "On the trail of the green hell" provides information about volcanism in the Eifel. At this point of the hike you have a wonderful view over the Eifel.
