Adenau
A tribute to the city of Adenau and its residents
Traditionally, the song | Addene Jong | has been part of the carnival in Adenau for almost 100 years.
In the 1930s, the then public school teacher Herschbach created a musical monument for the residents of Adenau. To commemorate this tradition, the KG Adenau commissioned a local artist to create a sculpture made of bronze and metal casting - inspired by a real figure from today's time: an original "Addene Jong".
