The otherwise rather tranquil little village of Sierscheid in the Eifel region, located in the municipality of Adenau, traditionally celebrates its Kirmes on the third weekend in September.

From September 19 to 20, 2026, the legendary Sierscheid fair will kick off a new edition with plenty of special attractions for a great night of partying.

The fair kicks off on Saturday at 7:00 p.m. with a traditional French fry stand, homemade salads, and goulash soup.
The party DJ will keep the mood lively at the champagne bar, and guests will also be treated to the cocktail bar and the cozy chill zone.
The festivities continue on Sunday at 10:30 a.m. with Holy Mass in the chapel, followed by a wreath-laying ceremony at the memorial. Afterward, everyone heads to Dröschplatz for a morning beer. A delicious lunch will be served to guests, and in the afternoon, coffee and cake will round out the fair’s offerings. There will also be plenty of fun activities for kids on Family Day, including a bounce house, glitter tattoos, the Adenau Municipal Association’s game truck, and the Schuld Fire Department.

The Sierscheid Village Community Association (Dorfgemeinschaft Sierscheid e.V.) looks forward to welcoming many guests.
