St. Martinszug | Aremberg

Traditional St. Martin parade where children and their parents walk with laterns along the streets, in front of them a man on horse who plays the roman soldier Martin who later became bishop of Tour (in France).

The Aremberg Volunteer Fire Department has been organizing the St. Martin’s Parade in Aremberg for as long as anyone can remember. They cordially invite you to this year’s St. Martin’s Parade. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. and winds through the streets of Aremberg, past the Beggar’s Statue to the St. Martin’s bonfire—a festive experience for young and old alike. Following the parade, there will be a cozy get-together at the community center. Refreshments will be plentiful: grilled dishes, fresh salads, mulled wine, and beer await you.
A special highlight is the traditional St. Martin’s raffle, where there are once again attractive prizes to be won.
Raffle tickets can be purchased from Thomas Udelhofen until after the parade.
