St. Martinszug | Reifferscheid

Traditional St. Martinszug where children and their parents walk with laterns along the streets, in front of them a man on horse who plays the roman soldier Martin who later became bishop of Tour ( in France).

The St. Martin’s procession begins at the “Eifelblick” community center. Accompanied by St. Martin on horseback, with music and the volunteer fire department, the festive procession winds its way through the streets to the atmospheric St. Martin’s bonfire. We look forward to a wonderful evening filled with light, music, and fellowship!
