7 new loop trails on the AhrSteig
The AhrSchleifen invite you to discover the Eifel and the Ahr Valley on fresh trails—off the beaten path, yet always surrounded by a landscape that captivates with its diversity and natural beauty.
Four of the new circular hikes are between 10 and 16 kilometers long and ideal for eventful days of hiking. Three additional, shorter trails—no longer than 6 kilometers—are perfect for families, leisurely hikers, and anyone who prefers a relaxed half-day hike.
What makes the AhrSchleifen so special?
They offer a glimpse into the different regions along the Ahr—from the Upper Ahr Valley through the Middle Ahr Valley to the Lower Ahr Valley. Forests, meadows, vineyards, and sweeping views accompany every tour, offering a nature experience that unfolds its own unique magic depending on the season.
