Creative Worship Service "Path into the Unknown - Future Requires Reconciliation"

The parish of Adenauer Land cordially invites you to the creative worship service at the Gillig Mill in Antweiler. Inspired by the Misereor Hunger Cloth 2027/28 and this year's Lenten campaign, we are taking a journey together that gives us courage: a way through uncertainty, leading to encounter, healing, and reconciliation. The Hunger Cloth depicts people who are tentatively and connectedly on their way. The Lenten campaign tells the story of young people in Burundi, who are finding a new language for wounds through theater, dance, and comics, and daring to take steps toward reconciliation. Their voices accompany us throughout this worship service. We hear the Emmaus story, contemplate the Hunger Cloth, and create a shared "Path of Reconciliation" - a small sign that the future grows where we listen, share, and dare to try new things. In prayer and in songs, we connect listening, sharing, and daring new things. In prayer and in songs, we link our own experiences with the hopes of young people in Burundi and around the world. A warm invitation to walk this path together.
