The shopping town of Adenau, 7 km away, with all the usual discounters and a wide range of restaurants, can be reached quickly. The world-famous Nürburgring is only approx. 9 km away by car Cologne/Bonn Airport is 77 km away and Hahn Airport is 81 km away. In addition to the world-famous Nürburgring, the Kaiser-Wilhel-Tower on the Hohe Acht, the Dauner Maare, the Maria Laach monastery, the Freilinger bathing lake or the Kasselburg eagle and wolf park invite you to take a trip. You can hire bicycles or e-bikes in the shopping town of Adenau. The "Barweiler Mühle" fishing park with several ponds is located in the immediate vicinity (approx. 1500m) of the village.
