Shaded Hiking Trails—Experience Nature Firsthand

Take a Deep Breath Under a Canopy of Leaves

Around the Nürburgring, the Eifel region and the Upper Ahr Valley reveal their multifaceted character: dense forests, cool stream valleys, volcanic ridges, and trails that connect natural and cultural history. When you’re out and about here, you’ll be exploring a landscape shaped by basalt, lava, and centuries of human activity—one that offers pleasant conditions even on warm days.

Tip: The trails are well-marked and can be planned according to your fitness level. Be sure to wear breathable, light-colored clothing, sturdy hiking boots, a hat, sunscreen, and bring plenty of water and light snacks.
